WHAT ARE THE TIMINGS FOR THE CONCERT? 

·       4:00PM - Gates open

·       7:00PM - Concert starts

·       9:45PM - Concert concludes (approx time)

       *20 minute interval

 

WHAT TICKET TYPES ARE AVAILABLE?

·       Premium seat: $125 - allocated reserved seating

·       A Reserve seat: $95 - allocated reserved seating

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

No, there's no dress code. You can dress up if you like, but we recommend wearing something comfortable. If the weather is cool, we also suggest you bring a warm jacket or similar.

WHAT CAN I PURCHASE AT THE CONCERT?

From 4pm you can purchase gourmet food, fine local wine, beer and soft drinks from a variety of food stalls and various bars. If you would like a cheese or antipasto platter, please pre-order through Hope Estate - call 1800 777 444.

HOW DO I GET THERE? 

Hope Estate is located in the famous Hunter Valley region in NSW, Australia. It is a two‐hour drive north‐west of Sydney. To get there by car: cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading north, and follow the signs to Newcastle and the North Coast, up the Pacific Highway. Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the National Highway 1 Freeway entrance (F3) at Wahroonga (approximately 30 minutes drive depending on traffic). Travel along the National Highway 1 Freeway (F3) towards Newcastle, in a northerly direction, for approx. 100 kms. Exit the Freeway at the Cessnock/Hunter Valley Vineyards sign. Follow the signs to Cessnock, then to Branxton, along Wine Country Drive, turn left on to Broke Road and travel for about 2km, then turn right into Hope Estate.

 

WILL THERE BE BUSES/COACHES RUNNING? 

Yes, Rover Coaches operates event specific shuttle transfers to and from the venue departing from various destinations all around the region. Avoid the hassle and go via coach.

WHAT CAN I BRING TO OPERA IN THE VINEYARDS? 

  • Concert ticket

  • Photo ID

  • Seats are provided in the 'Premium' and 'A Reserve' seated areas.

  • We recommend wearing sensible footwear.

  • Bring sunscreen, a hat for the afternoon, and a jacket while travelling home (the evening may be cool)!

 

WHAT ARE PROHIBITED ITEMS?

  • Alcohol beverages and any other beverages including bottled water - this is a licensed event.

  • Metal cutlery, including cheese knives.

  • Sunshades, tents and tables.

  • Glass - this includes wine glasses, jars, or any other containers or items made of glass.

  • Pets (other than guide dogs).

  • Pyrotechnics, fireworks, flares, highly flammable or explosive substances.

  • Weapons including knives, scissors, laser pointers or any items that are deemed dangerous by security.

 

There will be a security check at the gate and prohibited items will be confiscated.

 

4Di Touring does not take any responsibility for confiscated items.

 

CAN I BRING MY CAMERA OR SOUND AND VIDEO RECORDING EQUIPMENT?

  • Professional cameras and video and recording equipment are not allowed.

  • Media and professional photographers must arrange accreditation through info@4di.com.au

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?

No. Opera in the Vineyards is a licensed event. Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and water will be available for purchase at the venue.

 

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Free parking is available at the venue.

 

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Yes, this is an all ages event. 

 

IS FIRST AID AVAILABLE?

Yes. Please ask Security, Event staff or First Aid officers for help. There will be a first aid service attending this event. Please consider others as well as your own safety. If someone is in need of medical attention please let Security, Event staff or First Aid know so they can help.

 

ARE PASSOUTS AVAILABLE?

No, except in the case of an emergency.

 

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

The concert will go ahead rain, hail or shine. This is an all-weather event.

 

CAN I SMOKE?

Only in the designated Smoking Areas which are sign posted at every venue. There is NO Smoking allowed in the Reserved Seating areas.

 

WHERE IS LOST PROPERTY?

If you find or lose something - please go to the Box Office. After the event, any lost property will be left at the Box Office.

 

ARE EFTPOS FACILITIES AVAILABLE?

Yes, however we strongly recommend bringing ample supply of cash.

 

ARE THERE FACILITIES FOR DISABLED PEOPLE? 

Yes, disabled toilets, parking and viewing areas are available at the venue.

Please Note: Opera in the Vineyards is held at winery, therefore there are some sloped and uneven areas

CAN I GET A REFUND OR EXCHANGE? 

Unless the concert has been cancelled or rescheduled, or there are legal requirements that provide otherwise (including those of the Australian Consumer Law), tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

If the concert is rescheduled, you will be offered equivalent seats at the rescheduled time. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled concert or the concert is cancelled entirely, you are entitled to a refund of the face value of the tickets and the per ticket booking fee. However, once the concert has taken place there is generally no right to a refund or exchange. Please contact us for exact instructions if the concert is cancelled or rescheduled.

 

CAN LOST TICKETS BE REPLACED? 

No. Once the ticket sale is processed the purchase is final. While obviously we sympathize with you if you lose your ticket, we are unable to reissue. Even if we have a record of your purchase, we cannot be certain that other less scrupulous members of the public will not use the ticket. Please treat your ticket like cash, as they are irreplaceable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A PERFORMER IS REPLACED OR THE PROGRAMME CHANGES?

Management reserves the right to add, substitute or replace an Artist and vary the programme without notice. This usually occurs if an Artist suffers an unexpected illness or if we experience circumstances beyond our control.
